Salem Event Calendar

The original idea for this community blog is to collect events in Salem that appeal to many types of Salemites such as festivals, fairs, special holiday events and cultural events. I want to have as many eyes and ears finding dates for this collection as possible, so add my email to your cell phone or address book and send me a quick note when you see a sign for something cool. I'd like the time span, if it is kid friendly or not, and if there is admission for entry. Visit the site often for news, information, and pictures of your favorite community events.

News: Hiatus, Length TBD

Due to circumstances beyond my control and a change of work schedule, the Salem Event Calendar will be on hiatus until further notice. I hope to bring it back after the holidays in one form or another. In the mean time, I would like to point those seeking stuff to do in Salem in the direction of the Salem Pipeline. It is a blog I occasionally contribute to and a great weekly resource for events.

Thanks everyone for your events and contributions! I hope to get things going again soon!

"Entertain Me Salem" Plans

I have plans to continue the article series, named Entertain Me Salem, highlighting ongoing classes and events in Salem such as live music, art classes, wine tasting, etc. I have a rough draft for wine tasting and classes in Salem which will be out soon.

If you have any information or would like to request a topic you feel there are many ongoing events for in Salem, please let me know (comment on the site). Are there lots of open book clubs in Salem or places who hold art shows that you know about and love? Comment below and I will craft an article around them.

Thanks for your help!
